Wodonga Council candidates were emailed three climate change questions by WATCH in the lead up to the October 2024 election.
They were asked:
Q1. How do you rate the importance of climate action on a ten-point scale, where one indicates low priority and ten indicates high priority?
Q2. If elected, would you use your position as a councillor to reduce emissions from Council and the community?
Q3. If ‘yes’ to question 2, how would you help reduce emissions from Council and the community?
Nine of the 19 candidates responded – see details in table here (PDF).
